Retaking a course as a share link in Success Factors

We would like to highlight a significant issue we are experiencing with Percipio learning platform regarding course completions for learners. This issue is impacting a substantial number of our users and has broader implications for CSO Accelerator Programme.

Issue Description: We have observed that if users retake a course—either as part of a program requirement or to enhance their knowledge—the completion is not being recorded on SuccessFactors. This discrepancy is affecting the accuracy of learning hours. This has been observed significantly with 2 courses they are using as part of their programme. This is due a Percipio product design, PFA mail regarding it (FW: [EXTERNAL] RE: Skillsoft ticket #IS-04982336 - Missing Percipio completions in SuccessFactors).

Impact on Stakeholders:

  1. Learners: The lack of accurate completion records is causing frustration among users, as their efforts to retake courses are not being acknowledged. This impacts their learning progress and professional development.
  2. HR Ops Team: The team is currently burdened with the manual task of updating completion records. This additional workload diverts their attention from other critical tasks, reducing overall efficiency.
  3. L&D Team: The manual intervention required to correct these records is not sustainable and affects our ability to maintain accurate and timely learning data.

2 Proposed Solutions:

  1. To address this issue, we propose that Percipio activates a restart option for all employees for all courses included in our programmes from backend. This would ensure that any course retaken by a user is accurately recorded on SuccessFactors, reflecting their completion status, and learning hours.
  2. We can share the user details who have already completed the CSO Part 2 courses, and they can restart them from backend for these users.

CURRENTLY TODAY - The course RESTART feature is the only way for a new completion to be relayed to SuccessFactors.

Hi @Vanessa Gooderham thank you for your submission. I will forward this over to the Admin team as this isn't an integration enhancement, but an enhancement on how multiple completions work.
