It would be great to have the ability to create an exam only (no course) and not have the option for the user to relaunch the exam. Once they take it, they should not be able to access it again. Absorb has this easy functionality but it is confusing to employees to use two platforms. The exam I created cannot be used in Percipio since our testers were able to relaunch over and over which also recorded the "highest score". Please consider adding this functionality.

PB - assessment authoring

Comments

  • Hi Lupe, thank you for the suggestion. I'm with the Customer Success team here at Skillsoft. Just wanted to understand more about the requirement here and have a couple of questions. Percipio Compliance has the feature to control the maximum number of attempts a learner can take - and you can limit it to 1, if the need be. When you say usage of two platforms - can you help me understand if you are using Absorb as the primary delivery method or Percipio? Did you create the exam using a third-party tool with the type as SCORM/AICC, because the content authoring tools have the nascent ability to set the number of attempts a learner can take. Eager to hear more about this.

    Thanks,
Yash from the Customer Success Team

Hi Yashvardhan. We do not use Percipio Compliance; we have Business Advance, Leadership and Tech & Dev. What I meant by two platforms is that we want to keep all of our custom courses in Percipio but often have to use Absorb instead. The custom content was built in Rise 360 and the type was SCORM/AICC. I have just learned we can add a timer through Storyline (which I have to learn). However, because Percipio has a launch button, I think they would still be able to relaunch the exam (have not tested this yet).
