Ability to change time zone for reports
Support received a request from a client, asking for the ability to change the timezone when making assignments. Per the client:
"I am currently managing the students' assignments, but due to a discrepancy in time zones, the due date has been affected. Please, take consideration that we need to be able to change the time zone or the system recognize the time zone from the operational system"

Yes - I fully support this request! Time zone should be reflecting the local time zone of the users site. This has caused assignment issues for us as well as the due date, issue date etc are all off by an entire day. We should not have to calculate what time it is in GMT versus our local time zone when creating assignments.

Hi Kevin,
The assignment due dates are always aligned to honour the GMT timezone. This information has been made more explicit in the recent changes in the assignment creation flow. We also made minor changes to reflect the assignment admin's local timezone when sending notifications to better calibrate with the global set of audiences. We will continue to further enhance the experience for supporting learning across multiple timezones.
