Status of Assignments

In reviewing the assigment page, the status shows In Progress when an assignment whether it is started, completed or past due. As the assignor, it would make sense to be able to know the assignee's status without having to click on the actual user. From what I am told, the Status here refers to the assignment being "in progress", rather than the progress of the assignee, which doesn't really make sense. As an assignor, I need to know at quick glance how many assigments are "in progress", "completed" or "pas due".

Also, I don't see an option for the assignor to get email updates on overdue or completed assignments. I have to go in individually to see if they are completed or past due.

@Lupe De Leon thank you for letting us know.

We are planning to add assignment status to assignment summary by user report that will help you to know correct status of the assignment.

Thanks @Sanjeeb Sahu. What about an option for both the assignor and assignee to receive status updates on their assignments? Unless I constantly pull a report, I don't know if someone missed their assignment or any other statuses. Is there a way to get a notification if an assignment has not been completed without pulling a report? This would be helpful for both admins and managers to see. I had this happen where an assignment was provided but never initiated and I didn't find out until I later pulled a report.

It would be helpful if when you look at the assignments list, if an assignment has a past date, and all users have completed that assignment,  to update the status to Ended.
