Date Range Filter on Live class page

A feature that I used all the time but no longer works is using the date range filter to find the live classes schedule with in that time frame. I just returns all the live classes in our system.
When I add a word from the title it will narrow the list a bit but as seen in the second screen shot there still a long list. I would love it if this feature could be restored.
