Impersonation of Users
Hello,
I am new to Precipio and wanted to inquire about impersonating users within the system. I was told that we could not do so. However, I was hoping that someone would be willing to share best practices or strategies to support users. I was also hoping to get some best practices on supporting learners who are not in the GMT time zone.
Thank you and I appreciate your support.

Hi Tyler,
I have had similar thoughts and would share some light on what Torelen MAY be looking at here.
Its about using admin profile to switch to a learner profile with the goal of investigating a challenge the learner may be experiencing. For example, a learner may report inability to view and play an assigned course on the Percipio LXP. To confirm and investigate, even through the admin may be able to play the course on using his won admin profile, an admin will be able to use the feature to switch to the learners profile/access to see if the reported challenge actually so, and proffer needed advice.
Currently, without the presence of such feature, admins do change the password of a learner to be able to access the learner profile for troubleshooting purposes. Afterwards, they inform learners of the reason for the challenge and the solution. The availability of such a feature would aid investigations without altering a learners password.

Hi Torelen,
Could you please share some insights into the use cases you have in mind regarding user impersonation? I'm interested in understanding how this approach could benefit the support of users and administrators within your organization. Are there any examples you could provide?
Best regards,
