Conducting an Effective Hiring Interview course - are the question types research-based?

The last time I read about the research about the effectiveness of interviews, it indicated that the most effective interview questions are behavioral-based - and that the rest aren't effective. I'm not sure if the research has evolved? This course's overview of interview questions didn't focus specifically on behavioral-based questions.
