Keep (portions of) Expert Insights on Diversity & Inclusion

I see a lot of Expert Insight courses scheduled for retirement. I like these because they provide small chunks, where I can recommend one three-minute video to folks.

Not all of these videos are outdated! In this series, I liked the following and was planning to use them - PLEASE KEEP these:
Diversity of Thought
How Inclusive Leaders Create Workplace Diversity

Uncovering Bias in Your Management Style
Diversity as a Driver of Innovation
The Present Paradigm
Reinforce Inclusive Values and Behaviors
Knowing about Diversity
What Managers Need to Know about Inclusion
Building an Inclusive Workplace

I agree and would actually take this quite a a bit further.  I think the expert insights are the best nuggets of learning in Percipio.  I like them much better than the canned courses.  Those often feel like a bunch of corporate speak.  The expert insights have credibility and are very thought provoking.

Yes!!! Heather, you put it very well. 100% agree!!!

Another thing I like about the expert insights is the micro-learning aspect. I can easily suggest a stand-alone 4-minute lesson. Many folks want bite-sized chunks, and the expert insights talks lend themselves well to that.

  • Hi everyone - I agree that the more personal approach and the micro length of the Expert Insights videos make them good, useful resources. Although many of them are still relelvant, there's a large portion that are outdated and need to be refreshed. And while you're refreshing the series, I'd love to see other experts and thought leaders as well - like Brene Brown, Chris Anderson (TED) and Sara Sanford, and maybe podcast hosts like Shankar Vedantam (Hidden Brain) or Manoush Zomorodi or Guy Raz (TED Radio Hour), or refresh the videos of leaders currently available, like Simon Sinek and Marshall Goldsmith. Just a thought….thanks!
