Designating specific approvers for Percipio ILT

Ask:  The ability to designate specific approvers for ILTs that require approval and limiting which site admin gets notification emails re. the pending approvals.

Current Situation: When an ILT requires registration approval, it can only be done by site admins and there is no way to designate, by individual or audience which site admins should be approving. As a result, ALL site admins receive the "registrations awaiting your approval" email that goes out daily unless all registration requests fulfilled.

Challenge: In large organizations there you have larger numbers of site admins and many divisions setting up ILT that require approval, all site admins gets daily emails reminding them of awaiting approvals, even when they have no ties to the ILT.

This would be a great addition as the ILT approval emails go to all 20 of our site admins and only 1 person is the approval manager for this audience for these live courses. Thank you for the suggestion Gina.

I just put in a help ticket for this. There's an option to put someone as an approval manager in the user profile, but all of our site admins are getting emails even with this field filled out. Definitely would be helpful if we could fix it so only a designated person received it.

  • Also related is the notification of "Q&A reported as inappropriate". It would be nice if we could identify the admin to receive these notifications instead of it going to all Admins on the site.

I could not agree more Gina! This makes it VERY difficult for us to manage!

  • Thank you all for your valuable inputs! This is really helpful to understand the issue better. We have very similar capability for self registration, where admin can define who are the site admins responsible to approve registrations and I understand that ILT approvals and Q&A reporting emails should also have designated site admins listed out. We will definitely consider this
