NEW FEATURES AND ENHANCEMENTS AS OF JANUARY 9, 2025

We continually release new features and enhancements based on your feedback and ideas. We want to share some recent additions with you here. You can review the complete list of changes in the January 9 Release Notes.

USER SUMMARY, EXECUTIVE REPORT, AND EXECUTIVE DASHBOARD UPDATES FOR ALIGNMENT

To ensure you are getting the most accurate picture of your learners' activity within Percipio, we made some changes to the Executive report and Executive dashboard, and updated the User Summary report to ensure alignment of data:

  • The current column Total Time in Content in the Executive Report was renamed to Learning Hours (HHMMSS). This update provides a unified terminology that makes it easier for you to interpret and compare data in your reports.
  • We renamed the Content Accesses by learner in the Executive Dashboard to Content accesses, which now offers parity to the columns in both the Executive report and the User Summary report. The new logic counts each access of an asset, meaning if a learner launches the same asset twice on the same day, it will count as two accesses. This change will help you get a more accurate picture of content engagement and usage patterns.
  • The User Summary report now reports on Total content accesses instead of Total accesses, which is the sum of Content Accesses and Child Content Accesses (new columns added to the User Summary report). Child content accesses are those assets launched from within a course including videos, knowledge checks, modules, and assessments. These are the same columns that are in the Executive report.

MORE ROBUST ASSIGNMENT REPORTS AND DASHBOARD

Enhancements to the three Assignment reports (Assignment SummaryAssignment Summary by User, and Assignment Detail) and one Assignment dashboard provide you with more robust tools to track and manage existing assignments. A summary of changes include:

  • The report and dashboard filters are now updated with the new look and feel of other recently released reports.
  •  When you select a date range filter, you have three new options for viewing:
    • Assignments launched within the date range
    • Assignments due in the date range
    • Assignments completed in the date range
  • All Assignment reports have been converted to Skillsoft template reports providing you the ability to save a specific view for later, show and hide columns, and sort and filter by columns.
  • You can now filter the Assignment dashboard on Assignment title.
  • For the Assignment detail by user and Assignment Summary by user and the Assignment Summary reports, you can now filter by Category.

DASHBOARD ENHANCEMENTS

This release finds the following updates to these dashboards:

  • Assignment Dashboard: You can now easily navigate from the Assignment dashboard to the Journey report, allowing you to track the progress of your learners more efficiently. From the Assignment progress tab, a new option is available at the bottom left that links directly to the Journey activity report (currently in beta). This feature retains the date range, audience, and assignment title, ensuring consistency across your reports.
  • Learning Feedback Dashboard: The response scales in the dashboard now match the learner feedback options of Strongly disagree to Strongly agree instead of Very unlikely to Very likely. This update ensures clarity in interpreting learner feedback.
