Mark custom content as complete

Currently we just have the options to mark Exempt or Equivalent. Neither fits when we need to mark someone complete if perhaps there is a glitch in the learner taking the course.

This feature is available in Compliance Suite, and a workaround exists for Percipio Compliance 1.0.

  • Hi Samantha,

Thanks for the suggestion! May I ask why the distinction between Equivalent and Complete is important? I want to make sure I fully understand the request, and it would help me to know if there is some workflow in the system where it is creating problems for you.

Currently in Percipio Compliance 1.0, completions can be granted for certain types of content, such as off-site training. For web-based training, the system only tracks "completions" that are obtained by launching and taking a course. I understand that glitches can occur, and our recommendation is to use Equivalencies to rectify that problem.

However, on our newly released Compliance Suite, completions can be granted for custom content as you've described. Compliance Suite comes with a whole host of new features that you might find beneficial, so I would recommend that you consider upgrading. It would solve this issue, and give you access to a lot more!

    Thanks,

    Trevor

  • Hi Trevor,

The distinction between Equivalent and Complete is important for our tracking purposes. Equivalent means that completed a DIFFERENT course that counts in place, but they did not take that specific course. Complete would mean that learned in fact completed that course.
