Connecting Skill Benchmarks to the Skilling Strategy

Some of our strategic teams are hitting a roadblock with Skill Benchmarks when trying to implement a Skilling Strategy. The report is too general- it doesn't drill down enough to inform next steps when they have trainers ready to roll out robust programs inclusive of ILTs, collaborative activities, and self-development.

For example, the Communication Essentials Skill Benchmark assesses 11 topics/objectives:

Keeping Business Calls Professional, Bridging Differences in Cross-cultural Communication, How Culture Impacts Communication, Using Communication Strategies to Bridge Cultural Divides, Conquering the Challenges of Public Speaking, Telling a Business Story, Enhancing Communication through Listening, Conveying Your Message without Words, Expanding Your Communication Skill Set, Overcoming Barriers to Effective Listening, Listening to Engage, Empower, and Influence

Two issues only having access to a Proficiency Score:

  1. There are too many topics to cover, and L&D teams want to identify the weakest areas to focus on for an immersive program.
  2. This is not enough information to develop cohorts based on gaps.

Is there a possibility we will provide more details in the Skill Benchmark Dashboard that will help inform next steps for the skilling strategy?
