We continually release new features and enhancements based on your feedback and ideas. We want to share some recent additions with you here. You can review the complete list of changes in the September 5 Release Notes.

 

(1) MANAGE SKILLSOFT COMPLIANCE CONTENT DIRECTLY IN SKILLSOFT PERCIPIO

We are thrilled to announce that the Skillsoft Compliance content is now fully integrated into the Skillsoft Percipio library. If you are new to compliance or migrating to the new experience, you can manage all compliance content like any other Skillsoft or custom content.

What to Expect:

  • Unified Library Access: Search and browse compliance content directly within the Skillsoft Percipio library without a separate interface.
  • Integrated Assignments and Programs: Create assignments, learning programs, and promotions that include compliance content seamlessly within Skillsoft Percipio.
  • Customized Learning Paths: Customize channels, journeys, and dynamic content to incorporate compliance topics tailored to your organization’s needs.
  • Individual Completion Settings: Set distinct completion settings for compliance content separate from other Skillsoft content.
  • Configurable Compliance Content: Adapt compliance content to meet your requirements by integrating your components and selecting relevant topics.

Action Required for Compliance 2.0 Users:

  • If you currently use Compliance 2.0, please review our FAQ for crucial site changes.
  • For those using the separate Compliance interface without Skillsoft compliance content, contact your Skillsoft account team to transition to the new interface.

(2) DISCOVER ENHANCEMENTS MADE FOR EXISTING COMPLIANCE 2.0 CUSTOMERS:

To support the new Skillsoft Compliance content suite, you can:

  • Easily manage the completion criteria for compliance content directly in Skillsoft Percipio: Manage completion settings via the left navigation under Compliance Completion Settings > Skillsoft Percipio. Access your original linked content from the Compliance Completion Settings > Provider option. For more information, please refer to the Compliance Completion Settings.
  • Configure Compliance Suite content: Prepare now for the end of the year when your original linked compliance content will be retired, and you will exclusively use Compliance Suite content. Enhancements to Content Configuration for your Compliance Suite content include:
    • Previously called Topic Management and restricted to composite style courses only, you can now show/hide and reorder the content of any compliance course. Flip the Content Management toggle to enable this feature when editing or adding a configuration.
    • When you access Content Configuration, you only see a list of content you configured. Previously, every compliance course was displayed, whether configured or not.
    • When adding a new configuration, select Create Configuration and search for the desired course. You can now add a unique name.

 

(3) CREATE ASSIGNMENTS MORE EFFECTIVELY USING LANGUAGE EQUIVALENCIES

You can now assign content more efficiently without creating separate assignments for each language. This feature ensures that all learners receive training on the same topics in their preferred language.

 

When creating an assignment, select Learners can complete courses in any available language.

  • Learners only need to choose the course in their preferred language, and Skillsoft Percipio will automatically include all available equivalent languages.

  • If a course lacks a language equivalency, learners can take the course in the default language for that course.
  • Admins can provide a translated title and description for each language equivalency instead of creating separate assignments.
  • Learners will see an icon next to courses with language equivalencies and can choose their preferred language.
  • Assignment reports will display the last language-equivalent course accessed or completed.

(4) SELECT RELEVANT CONTENT BASED ON YOUR LEARNERS’ SKILL NEEDS

You can now view and filter for skills associated with each piece of content in the All content listing and Detailed activity reports. This enhancement helps you choose relevant content for your learners based on the skills they need.

  • Use the new Skill filter to find content relevant to specific skills and identify learners accessing content to improve skills.
  • A new Skills column lists all skills related to specific content.

 

We recommend using this feature to better align your content offerings with the specific skill needs of your learners.

Skillsoft Certification Paths builds on our extensive certification prep of nearly 5M learning hours across top certification providers like CompTIA, (ISC)², Cisco, AWS, GCP, Microsoft, HRCI, Prince2, and PMI to transform the fragmented and manual customer certification process to a more centralized, intuitive and automated flow for learners and complete reporting and visibility of certification status for administrators.

 

Unlike other less holistic solutions, Skillsoft Certification Paths provides learners with a single, intuitive platform for all certification needs, from discovery to renewal, reducing the hassle and time of managing disparate sites/resources. Meanwhile, admins, HR, and managers benefit from robust tracking features, enabling them to chart progress, more efficiently manage vouchers, and stay ahead of upcoming expirations and renewals, all within a single integrated platform.

 

What to Expect:

Skillsoft Certification Paths will be rolling out in phases in the coming months. We expect the new layout will be available on your organization’s platform on September 19, and the current Skillsoft certification offerings will be available with this initial release.
