Regarding stringency rules
For stringency item #5, we'd like for the due date stringency item to look at all due dates, not just those that are RDD.
We actually have a new group starting soon. We created an audience for them called "NLECC" and they are members of other older groups as well. The NLECC audience has assignments that are duplicates of older assignments, and per the current stringency rules, rule #8 applies. However, we would like for rule #4 to apply even though these assignments are OTO and not RDD because we need this special new audience to complete these courses in a much shorter time-frame. I have a link to the stringency rules included below.
Another idea is to have something like a radio button on the assignment page that says "if applicable - make this group assignment" more stringent. Something that allows the admin to decide which group assignment takes precedence.

Hi Alicia! These are both great call outs.
I have two potential workarounds in mind:
- According to Stringency Rule 3 - RCD & RDD assignments are more stringent than OTO. Could you change the retraining assignment for your NLECC audience to an RCD or RDD, but put the due date 50+ years in the future where users will not see it again? I believe then the new assignment will take precedence.
- You could also use our content configuration tool (pending the courses being assigned are Skillsoft Compliance library courses) and retitle the courses so that they receive new IDs and are not tied to the courses that are a part of the existing assignments.
We really appreciate your feedback and will look into it further!
