[Skillsoft Percipio Release Notes] Announcing New Features to Help You Transform Your Workforce

We continually release new features and enhancements based on your feedback and ideas. We want to share some recent additions for you here. You can review the complete list of changes in the May 16 Release Notes.
(1) KNOW WHAT SKILLS YOU ACTUALLY NEED WITH ROLE AND SKILL RATINGS
Role and skill ratings empower learners to tailor their learning experience. Learners can now use role and skill ratings to gain a deeper understanding of the necessary skills for their role and self-assess their proficiency levels.
Enabled by default under Site Configuration > Site features, this setting permits learners to choose, self-assess, and view their skills on the Role and Skill Ratings page.
Formerly known as Allow Percipio to present role-based learning recommendations, the improved feature now offers a Role and Skill Ratings page instead of the previous Role page. Additionally, the Skills page has evolved into the Skills Interests page, where learners can explore skills unrelated to their job roles.
(2) DRIVE PRACTICE AND APPLICATION — SKILLSOFT CAISY™ AI SIMULATIONS NOW INCLUDED IN RECOMMENDATION & RE-ENGAGEMENT EMAILS
Skillsoft CAISY™ Conversation AI Simulator makes difficult work conversations easier by providing learners with a safe space to practice meaningful business conversations and learn from an AI-powered coach.
Skillsoft CAISY™ AI Simulations are included in Expert collections and the Skillsoft Leadership Development Program. To help your learners easily find and engage with Skillsoft CAISY™ AI Simulations, they now see a promotional banner in their weekly recommendation and re-engagement emails. This streamlined pathway encourages learners to engage more deeply with their training by directing them to the Practice with Skillsoft CAISY™ AI Simulations landing page in Skillsoft Percipio.

(3) START LEARNING TOGETHER WITH CUSTOM CONTENT
Learners can now create and share a Learn Together invitation for custom content to further enable collaborative learning. Learn Together is available for all custom content types except live courses.
To make sending an invitation easier, learners can now access and create a Learn Together experience directly from the Actions option on a content card.
The Learn Together setting under Engagement & Notifications > Social Learning enables the feature. This setting is on by default.
(4) MAKE NOTES AND HIGHLIGHT TEXT IN BOOKS
Learners can now capture critical points while reading a book or summary by adding notes and highlights. A new Notes tab within the book and the current Notes and Reflections page will display these notes.
This setting is on by default. You can locate the setting from Site features, Allow learners to take notes and make highlights in books.
Please note that the notes and highlighting feature in books and book summaries currently does not conform to accessibility standards for keyboard navigation and screen readers. This may affect the experience for some learners, so you can turn off this feature if needed while we work to resolve these concerns.
