Bigger Logo on Percipio - Best of both worlds

Over the last 3 years, I have branded a lot of Percipio sites. One of the biggest hurdles is the client’s logo and the ability to make it clear and legible in the header. My first step is to remove any white space from around their logo to optimize the space used, but if the logo has much detail, it is usually lost. There are a few workaround options we occasionally lean on, but they are not ideal.
Recently I assisted with branding for one of our clients. When I visited their corporate site, I notice they used a technique that would be very useful in Percipio and somewhat solve this issue while possibly offering up some valuable space for other possibilities (other resources).
As we all know, it is first impressions that matter and I believe this could bring an additional WOW factor to Percipio.
The reference site URL is: https://us.glock.com/
When you first hit the site, you are greeted with a swollen header bar showing off a much larger company logo, along with a couple of additional links over to the top right corner.

…. But the second you start to scroll down the page, that no longer needs to be the primary focus and the header drastically reduces in size, and back to a more functional work space, similar to what we have in Percipio today.

I believe as long as the client’s logo is legible during the initial few seconds on the site, that could possibly be the answer to this issue for many.
