Mark as Completed

We've noticed that the clickable link for learners to "Mark as Completed" for our videos loaded as custom content only appears when the video is found in the Library but not when using the Search feature or even in the Learner Activity pane.
As some learners leverage the power of the search tool and may not know specifically where a video or other file is located in the Area > Subject > Channel structure of the library itself, they are experiencing difficulty in marking these videos and/or other files complete.

- Is it possible to add the "Mark as Complete" clickable link (grayed out when not yet launched like those in the Library) to the search result shortcuts?
- Is it possible to add it to the More Options menu button that is always available whether the file is found in the Library or the Search? Again, possibly grayed out if not yet launched.
- Is it possible to add it to the Learner Activity window as that is where learners may logically go to view past and current activities?

@Steve Dunn I think this could be a good addition to the More action menu for Resume Learning, Playlists, and Activity page. We would only display it when the linked content has been launched. I will add this to our list of enhancements to consider for a future release.
@Mark Hanley Is this something you want to consider for Search Results?0 -
I'll add a story to look into this for Search. This might be a bit difficult, as Search does not currently know (or need to know) whether a user has accessed an asset previously or not. In order to make this work, we would need to add functionality into search to check the user's status in the asset before we display the option. I do not know what the performance impact might be. But, I'll look into it.
We have a similar enhancement on the list to add a status indicator to search results, so users could see if they had previously accessed/completed an asset in search results. This would also require checking the users' status in all the assets we display, so if we can do that, we may be able to do both.0
