Change default filter for activities from next 5 to all future activities

On the system we have noticed that if 1 of our users tries to register for an activity when they go to the registration screen that shows upcoming activity events the filter is automatically set to only show the next 5 events for the activity.

This is confusing our network as they don't realise they need to use the filter to show more dates in the future they could book onto. Could this be looked into to either be changed to show all upcoming events or give us access to change the default on the filter to our own preference please?
