Practice Makes Perfect with Skillsoft CAISY™ Conversation AI Simulator
Dear Valued Customers:
On September 29, 2023, CAISY will be available by default for all US and Canada-based customers with Skillsoft Expert or SLDP collections. EU-based customers and US government clients will remain off by default but will be given additional notice and turned on at a later date.
The new functionality enables learners to have simulated conversations about various business problems and receive real-time responses. Through the conversation, employees practice their skills and their ability to think on their feet to solve the problem.
A GLIMPSE OF THE KEY BENEFITS
With CAISY, employees can hone their conversational skills with an AI-powered trainer and receive personalized feedback to guide their development. Customer service representatives, for example, can practice resolving caller concerns, or sales executives can role-play how to pitch new products effectively. Skillsoft’s Conversation AI Simulator offers organizations:
- A safe, trusted practice environment. CAISY replicates real-world scenarios where learners seek out information and receive real-time responses so they can solve a business problem — allowing employees to make mistakes and learn to think on their feet.
- Relevant, engaging learning experiences. Learners can choose from various real-world scenarios that best align with their development needs. They can customize the tone of the conversation and choose to either rehearse the discussion or model the scenario to see the best practice approach.
- Real-time, personalized results. Learners receive immediate, personalized results for each conversation to understand their strengths and weaknesses. The results include a rating, positive feedback, and points for improvement.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTION
We understand that preferences vary, and not all customers may want the new Conversation AI Simulator available by default. If you prefer to opt out of this default setting, please email us at AI@skillsoft.com before September 25, 2023 with the URL for the site(s) you do not want enabled. Our team will ensure that the feature remains turned off for your organization, allowing you to decide when to explore it. You may also turn the feature on or off after launch at any time from your site settings.
