Percipio Certification: Admin Essentials Journey launches

Percipio Admins can be force multipliers for learning in their organizations when they use Percipio to its fullest. But how do Admin’s skill up on Percipio? How do organizations plan and deliver a successful Percipio launch designed to realize value quickly? How do new Admins onboard onto Percipio on their own time and in their own way? How do skilled Admins share their credentials so that future employers know what they are capable of? All of these drivers brought us here, which is the design and delivery of the first Percipio Admin training journey: Admin Essentials Journey. Learners can complete each course and track within the journey to become a certified Percipio site administrator, then share the Digital Badge on their social media profile.

The journey features four tracks designed to quickly upskill site and learning admins on the basic features of Percipio, with a focus on launching the site to users for the first time. Tracks 1 and 2 focus on site configuration, branding, and user management. Track 3 helps admins understand how they can drive adoption, engagement, and measure success after launch. Track 4 is all about content, educating Admins on how they can manage Skillsoft and partner content, while maximizing the custom content capabilities Percipio has to offer.

The journey can be discovered from the Aspire Journeys for Business Skills section or via search (after it is launched on 28 May 2022). It is included with any Percipio site. Learners do not require an Admin role to access the journey, making it available for anyone that aspires to be a Percipio admin.

In a recent study “Admin Analysis Data and Analytics: June 2021” conducted by the Skillsoft BI organization, three “usage driving” admin activities were identified to have a positive impact on the Active User Fraction (AUF). These activities include Content Promotion, Assignments and Custom Content.

In line with the recommendations from the study, the Admin Essentials Journey encourages best practices in all areas, with special attention paid to these usage-driving activities. Additionally, for smaller accounts that do not have the benefit of a dedicated Customer Success team, the Admin Essentials Journey can help new Admins quickly obtain the skills they need to be successful. An added benefit are the portable badges which serve as both a reward and a credential of certification that can be shared with current and future employers.

The course instructors are Skillsoft product experts who have worked as Percipio administrators and supported Skillsoft customer Percipio administrators since its launch in 2017.

Shortly after the initial release, two customer case studies will be added to the journey, offering advice to admins from their peers about how to leverage Percipio for success. Stay tuned!
