PROPEL YOUR ORGANIZATION AND PEOPLE TO GROW TOGETHER

We continually release new features and enhancements based on your feedback and ideas. We want to share some recent additions for you here. You can review the complete list of changes in the February Release Notes.

MORE LANGUAGES SUPPORTED BY AUTOMATED CLOSED CAPTIONS

To enable more of your learners to follow the video dialogue in their native language, machine-translated closed captions are now available for 38 languages, up from 15. Visit the Learning Edge to find an end-user marketing template to help you generate awareness across your organization.

NEW SKILLSOFT PERCIPIO COMPLIANCE COURSE PLAYER

The improved course player offers a refreshed experience more consistent with the Percipio course player. An updated VPAT reflects the enhancements to the interface. Learners will still see the older player for legacy Skillsoft compliance courses and custom courses. For more information, see Percipio Compliance course player.

TARGETED FOR LAUNCH IN MARCH: FIVE LEVELS FOR SKILL BENCHMARKS

The skill level scale will expand from three to five levels to offer a more precise grouping of learners' scores and can better calibrate the impact of your skilling programs. The new levels and ranges will be:

    • Novice (0-9 points): The new calibration of Novice will identify learners who demonstrate no familiarity with the topics critical for the skill.
    • Aspiring (10-49 points): This new level will recognize learners who demonstrate minimal capabilities for a specific skill and need a significant learning investment to achieve proficiency.
    • Developing (50-69 points): The new calibration of Developing will identify learners who demonstrate some proficiency with a specific skill and only need to close a few knowledge gaps to reach the next level.
    • Proficient (70-89 points): The new level will recognize learners who demonstrate a level of capability that indicates they are ready to start applying the skill to practical challenges in their work.
    • Advanced (90-100 points): This new level will identify learners who demonstrate a thorough understanding of the skill and may be candidates to mentor other learners within your organization.
