Thinking Outside the Box
Sue Orchanian
GUIDE
Last week was my birthday and one of the gifts I received was a pair of socks that had toe separators. I’m sure you have seen these. My initial reaction was that I would never wear them, however, my thoughts drastically changed once I tried them on.
So today I launched into Skillsoft and decided to try something different. With nothing in mind, I just began searching. One search led to another until I came across Expert Insights content. I took a moment to look at topics that I was interested it, and I was so impressed.
Not only is the content outstanding, but there are short snippets of experience shared by subject matter experts. A few of my favorites are listed below.
The freedom my toes have with the socks on is amazing. I can wiggle my toes, stretch them out and have extreme comfort in my shoes. This experience made me think about my learning journey and how trying something new and thinking outside the box can benefit me.

Great perspective! Following your lead, I searched for those courses. While they were not in our Skillsoft library, I was able to discover the "Creating a Positive Atmosphere" Learning Path.
It has the following three courses, all of which are great for a manager:- Establishing an Engaged Workforce
- Establishing a Positive Work Environment
- How Organizational Learning Drives Positive Change
