In order to ensure proper people are assigned some compliance based training, we are looking to create an audience that pulls in the correct individuals at the time of hire or position change.  Specifically, we are looking to create an audience rule that covers the following criteria:

User Manages employee who's organization is....

Specifically, we are trying to ensure managers who have employees that work at a specific branch receive state specific HR compliance training regardless of where the manager works.

I am aware of the potential to add optional information to an employees profile and audience rules to help meet this requirement.  However, I am curious if anyone has been able to configure an audience rule based on some of the information that is typically available in the standard in formation (i.e. manager, organization, employee name, org joining date, etc.)

    Hi John,

Thank you for your message. We have many organizations who use use attributes like location, job role for their Workplace Harassment Prevention training to help them identify the state training requirements, and whether they need an Employee or Manager version.

When you have a Manager who also must take the state specific training for the state in which their direct reports are located, we have had to rely on the organization being able to identify those states. Do you capture those details under each Manager account values? I have organizations who create an attribute and manually add a flag for each state in which they may have to take additional training.  e.g. California=Yes, Connecticut=Yes, Illinois=Yes etc. Those organizations populate the additional state flags by pulling reports on the Manager & locations of their direct reports.

I also have a customer who provides their Managers with training for the state in which they are located, and then they  add in a link to the training materials/requirements for the other states via the Content Configuration tool in Percipio Compliance.

New hire dates can be added as an attribute to help you manage a New Hire audience, but I also have clients who leverage the initial training window requirements as their new hire assignment.  The initial training window looks to see if the user has completed the training previously, if not, they must take the assignment under the initial training requirements. Once they have completed the initial training requirements and have a completion or equivalency, then they fall under the retraining requirements.
