What can managers do in Percipio?

Hi there,

I am looking for some tips/information about what managers can do in Percipio? I did look at the documentation and resources but I was not able to find a role for them in the platform. It seems that the assignments, for example, are solely for admin roles. Furthermore, does anyone know if managers can run/access any report?

You can configure the manager role for your organization under Settings / Role Customization. Here is a table view in our documentation that shows the privilege set by role. Permissions by Role

For the most part, Managers would like to be able to make assignments to their team, and view reports - such as the User Summary report or the Learner activity report. This is a great place to start to keep it simple!

To enable managers in your organization, you will want to set up audiences for each team. First set up a manager attribute of type: Percipio User. Second, sync the manager email address to this field nightly or weekly. This can change often so you want to keep it current. Third, use the Audience automation rule to automatically maintain audiences for all your managers.
