Review cycle for compliance courses
Our regulators have asked us for the process and timeline for how our mandatory course content gets updated. While I'm able to answer this for the internal courses we create, I don't fully know the answer for the Skillsoft Compliance Courses. I'm wondering if this is a document available that covers:
-How often is compliance content reviewed?
-What is the update process for compliance content?
-How quickly does this occur (especially in compliance to federal, provincial or state legislation)?
Thanks!

Hello, Rob. Thank you for reaching out on this topic. I've attached a Skillsoft Compliance solutions brochure that provides some insight into our compliance subject matter expertise (p. 5), instructional design (p. 6), and scope of solutions.
Skillsoft Compliance Solutions develop through an agile course build plan based on a flexible annual development roadmap. Our content library is always evolving – whether through the release of new courses or enhancements to existing content, we take a dynamic, data-driven approach to ensure our R&D investments in content reflect what enterprises need in order to meet their compliance requirements. Skillsoft's compliance content is developed by a cross-functional team of both internal and external project managers, instructional designers, writers, graphic designers, video producers, integration specialists, and subject matter experts. For example, in the creation of a new Legal Compliance course Skillsoft may utilize internal instructional designers and content writers, attorneys in private law practice as subject matter experts, and internal technology specialists to produce the finished course. Translations are typically provided by external, in-country specialist partners. All activities in the development of content is overseen by internal product directors who are, themselves, subject matter experts.
A hallmark of Skillsoft's commitment to creating and maintaining Compliance content that is up to date with evolving regulatory standards. In support of this objective, we have partnered with major law firms whose attorneys serve as the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for our courses. The SMEs regularly review and recommend updates for courses in accordance with any changes in the governing laws, regulatory requirements, and best practices relevant to the course topic. For example, the Bostock v. Clayton County decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2020 directly impacted a number of our courses on harassment, discrimination, and EEO issues. We worked with our SMEs to update the affected courses to reflect the change, with most updates completed within a 10-14 days. Our SME roster includes the firms Baker Donelson, Potomac Law Group, DLA Piper, Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green, Sherrard Kuzz, Axiom Law, and Eastman Smith, among others.
Please do let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!-------------------------------------------

Thanks!Good afternoon Melany. The graphic content and images have been static for a few years now with Harassment Prevention courses. Any idea on when they will get a facelift?
Thanks,
